Update From Our Pastor

Dear People of Real Life,

God is doing some new and great things in our church. We announced recently that our prayers have been answered and our Staples/Holly Campus has sold! All of our Trustees, Pastors and Deacons agree that this is a miracle. God has richly blessed us, and to reach our community for Christ – and respond to these blessings – we are embarking on a new mission and development initiative, which we are calling IMAGINE.

Many have found at Real Life an authentic community of faith to restart or continue their spiritual journey. We are seeing LifeChange at every turn and are experiencing continual growth. In order to meet the challenges of our growth, we are kicking off a three-year campaign to purchase land, construct a new Corpus Campus, expand the staff of the Portland Campus, improve the Internet Campus and launch additional campuses in Calallen, TX and Hartwell, GA.

We will also be launching a campus in Flour Bluff, TX in the Summer of 2008. I am asking the Corpus Campus to go with me to make this launch significant. When the new Corpus Campus is completed, we believe that the Flour Bluff Campus will remain a strong campus. This means that in two years we could have four campuses in this region: Portland, Calallen, Flour Bluff and Corpus!

People have been praying and many have already given sacrificially. Please begin praying about what a sacrificial gift looks like for you. For some, a sacrificial gift over three years may be $1,000; for others, a sacrifice may be closer to $100,000. We believe God will make your part clear to you if you sincerely ask the Holy Spirit to lead you. IMAGINE what God can do if we sacrifice together . . . and what He can do in each of our lives in the process.
